Our History

Picture
Two women got together in 2010 with the idea to create a non-collegiate social sorority in Australia. Gathering their friends and women they thought would make a great contribution, they set about founding a sorority that would strengthen their existing friendship by adding the bond of sisterhood.  Social events were planned to be the main focus of the sisterhood, but with a definite streak of philanthropy as well, Delta Kappa Nu was founded in May 2011.

Gandhi
Our colours are Gold, Carnation Pink and Ebony
Our gemstone is the pink sapphire
Our flower is the pink water lily
Our pin  consists of a gold Delta, filled with black enamel, bearing a gold Kappa and Nu, with diamonds in the arms  of the Kappa and Nu
